Earn multiple certifications in just 4 weeks!

Through 30 hours of hands-on training with a Gallatin College MSU Welding faculty member, participants will learn the skills and techniques to earn industry recognized certificate credentials. End-of-session testing will take place with an independent AWSCWI contractor.

Common certifications may include the following:

  • SMAW AWS D1.1, unlimited
  • SMAW 1G or 3G (depending on skill level), limited
  • Dual Shield 1F, 3F AWS D1.1 unlimited
  • SMAW 3G AWS D1.1 unlimited
  • Or specialty test dependent on industry recommendation and instructor authorization

Dates/Time: May 14 - June 6, 2024 | Tuesdays and Wednesdays | 4:30-8:30pm

Location: Gallatin College Welding Lab at Bozeman High School

Eligibility: This training is intended for current industry members with previous welding certification, industry sponsorship, or Gallatin College welding program graduates.

Cost: $320 covers enrollment and student/lab fees. Additional cost may apply for specialty metals and certification goals.

  • Current and previous Gallatin College or MSU students, please register for WLDG 281-001 or complete an intent to register request

  • Participants who are not current students or MSU alumni may register for this course in two ways:
  1. Apply to Gallatin College in order to earn college credit (immunization records, HS transcripts, and additional information required)
  2. Easily enroll below to complete the course without college credit.
