Gallatin College Orientation helps you prepare for your first semester with confidence. It is fully online and designed to walk you through what to expect, connect you with helpful resources, and help you get ready to register for classes.

Dates To Remember

For students who registered, Orientation opens May 18. Registration closes August 11, and Orientation closes August 19. We will not be accepting new students after August 19.

Online Format

Orientation is fully online and designed to fit your schedule. You can complete it wherever you are, with no trip to Bozeman required.

How Long It Takes

Most students can complete orientation in about two weeks due to immunizations, thriving together and ed ready testing. You can work through it at your own pace.

When to Complete

We recommend completing orientation in June to give yourself the best class options.

We’ll show you how to connect with your advisor, build your class schedule, and understand what to expect when it’s time to register.

Paying for College

You’ll get an overview of tuition, fees, and financial aid so you can better understand your costs and next steps.

Preparing for Day One

We’ll help you get familiar with Canvas, review your schedule, and find the resources and support available before classes begin.
