Associate of Science

Gain a foundation of general education studies with a concentration of coursework in mathematics and natural sciences.

Associate of Science (A.S.)

In the Associate of Science program at Gallatin College MSU, students take general education coursework with a concentration in mathematics and the natural sciences in preparation for transfer to a bachelor’s degree program either at Montana State University or another institution. Designed for students who are undecided about their education goals, prefer smaller class sizes, need academic skills improvement or desire a more gradual entrance into university life, the A.S. program is designed for a broad number of academic paths. Courses in the A.S. program are scheduled to meet the needs of working adults and are offered primarily in the evening at the Gallatin College East campus.

The Pre-Healthcare option within the Associate of Science degree is designed for students completing Core and pre-requisite courses for transfer into either a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in the health sciences. The courses required for this degree include the MSU Core/general education requirements and pre-requisite science courses

The Associate of Science program is part of Gallatin College MSU, southwest Montana’s two-year college. This program can be completed fully online.
