Transfer and General Education

Gallatin College's transfer and general education degrees are designed to meet the needs of students who are:

  • undecided about their educational goals
  • prefer small class sizes
  • are concerned about affordability
  • need academic support
  • desire a more gradual entrance into the university

Gallatin College offers two degree programs for transfer and general education:

The Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree

provides a foundation of general education studies with a concentration of coursework in the arts, humanities, and social sciences.

The Associate of Science (A.S.) degree

provides a foundation of general education studies with a concentration of coursework in mathematics and natural sciences.
